Onion & Beer Soup image

Lighter than the traditional version & quick to make! If, like me, you're not a beer drinker - I suggest using a light beer - like Molson's Canadian!!!!!!!

This soup was a disaster! The onions never caramelized properly and the soup was way too salty.

This soup was just okay. The flavor was a bit too bland for my taste.

This soup is the perfect comfort food for a cold winter day. It's warm, cheesy, and has a nice hint of beer flavor. I love serving it with a crusty baguette for dipping.

I'm a big fan of French onion soup, so I was excited to try this beer version. I was not disappointed! The beer adds a nice depth of flavor to the soup and the Gruyère cheese makes it extra rich and creamy. I will definitely be making this again.

This soup is a great way to use up leftover beer. I always have a few bottles of beer in the fridge that I don't know what to do with, so I love that this recipe gives me a way to use them up.

I thought this soup was just okay. The flavor was a bit too bland for my taste. I think I would have liked it better if I had used a more flavorful beer.
