ORANGE BUTTERMILK SALAD image

I like to make this salad when I have a heavy meal planned. This is light and creamy. Not too sweet. It's a vintage recipe from another Amish friend of mine. Where else? What's funny about this salad is that it's something men seem to enjoy. MAKE THIS SUGAR FREE by using sugar free cool whip and sugar free jello. Very good...

This salad is a great way to use up leftover chicken or fish. I also like to add a bit of crumbled bacon for extra flavor.

I'm not a big fan of oranges, but I really enjoyed this salad. The dressing was so good that it made me forget all about the oranges.

This salad was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with a more tart dressing.
