2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/3 cup sliced celery
2 scallions, sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup drained sliced water chestnuts
4 medium fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 (7 ounce) package frozen pea pods
scallion, curls for garnish

Steps:

  • In saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
  • Add mushrooms and pea pods. Simmer 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with scallion curl and serve.
