4 large potatoes
1 medium onion, chopped
4 tablespoons clarified butter
1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
salt and pepper
3/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Peel potatoes, if desired, and slice 1/2" thick.
  • Heat butter in a saucepan. Add onion and cook until golden brown.
  • Add potatoes, tomato sauce and water. Season to taste.
  • Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.

I tried a different seasoning blend and it was amazing! I used garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. It gave the potatoes a really nice flavor.
