1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons tomato sauce (or an additional amount of ketchup)
1/2 cup dark or light corn syrup
5 tablespoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
3/4 teaspoon cayenne

  • Whisk all ingredients until well blended, refrigerate. This recipe yields about 1 1/2 cups (12 ounces).
