Oven Fried Zucchini Mexican Style image

This is a low calory replacement for the usual french fries.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 medium zucchini cut into 3-inch long sticks, like french fries
cooking spray
1 Tbsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp ground cumin
salt & pepper to taste
1 c chili sauce or mild taco sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 500° F.
  • 2. Put zucchini sticks in single layer on a nonstick cookie sheet. Spray zucchini with cooking spray.
  • 3. Combine oregano and cumin and sprinkle over the zucchini fries; add salt & pepper to taste.
  • 4. Place in 500° F oven and cook 15 to 18 minutes. Top with chili sauce or taco sauce. Serve hot.
