1 cup rice
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon salt
2 cups water
½ cup paneer, cubed
¼ teaspoon red chili powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
⅓ cup carrot, chopped
⅓ cup bell pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon green chili sauce
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt, to taste
coriander leaf, optional, chopped

Steps:

  • For rice, fill 2 cups (480 ml) of water, with 1 tablespoon of oil, and a tablespoon of salt in a bowl. Then, add 1 cup (200 g) of rice to the water and cook.
  • For paneer, add 150 grams of cubed paneer in a small bowl and season with red chili powder, salt, and black pepper powder.

I'm not a huge fan of paneer, but this recipe changed my mind. The paneer was cooked perfectly and added a great texture to the dish.

The recipe was easy to follow, but the end result was disappointing. The rice was overcooked and the flavors were not well-balanced.
