PEACH CREAM PIE image

1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
4 to 5 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 c granulated sugar
1/4 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
1 c heavy cream

Steps:

  • 1. Place the peach slices in the unbaked pie shell in a single layer.
  • 2. In a small bowl, mix together sugar, flour and nutmeg. Sprinkle over peach slices. Pour heavy cream evenly over peach slices.
  • 3. Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for 50 to 60 minutes longer. Cool pie on wire rack.
  • 4. Serve warm with or without vanilla or peach ice cream.
