I'm allergic to peanuts, so I substituted almond butter in this recipe. The candy bars turned out great! I couldn't tell the difference between the peanut butter and almond butter versions.

These candy bars are a great make-ahead snack. I made a batch on Sunday and they're still fresh and delicious today. I love that I can grab one whenever I need a quick sweet fix.

The candy bars didn't turn out as chewy as I expected. I think I might have overcooked them. Next time I'll try baking them for a shorter amount of time.

I'm not a huge fan of peanut butter, but I really enjoyed these candy bars. The chocolate and oats balance out the peanut butter flavor perfectly. I'll definitely be making these again.
