I love the combination of pears and custard in these bars. The custard filling is so creamy and smooth, and the pears add a nice sweetness and texture. The shortbread crust is also very good. I would definitely recommend this recipe.

I thought these bars were just okay. The custard filling was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the pears were not very flavorful. The shortbread crust was good, but it wasn't enough to save the bars. I probably won't make these again.
