Persimmon Pudding bread image

1/3 c milk
1 c persimmon pulp
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c sugar
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice, ground
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c nuts, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Combine milk, pulp, vanilla and sugar.
  • 2. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into wet mixture. Fold in nuts and raisins.
  • 3. Pour into a greased 9x5" loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1-1 1/2 hours.
