Picadillo (No Raisins) image

Picadillo. We never liked the raisins in traditional picadillo because it made it too sweet. My friend grew up in Monterrey and her mother made it almost this way and I added a few other things.

This picadillo was a bit bland for my taste. I think I would add more spices next time.

I've made picadillo before, but this recipe is by far the best. The addition of raisins and olives really makes a difference. I highly recommend this recipe.
