Pierogi Casserole image

i have made this several times and even double it for large crowds. When you can't have fresh pierogis, this casserole does the trick.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 pkg frozen pierogis (16 oz each)
1/2 lb bacon, cooked & crumbled
1 pkg cream cheese
1 c chicken broth
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
2 large green onions, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly spray a 9 x 13" casserole dish. Arrange frozen pierogis in dish.
  • 2. In a saucepan, combine cream cheese and chicken broth. Stir frequently until cheese is melted. Pour cream cheese mixture evenly over pierogis. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  • 3. Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with sprinkled green onions.
