Overall, I thought this recipe was just okay. The pears were a little bland and the caramel sauce was too sweet.

I had some trouble getting the pears to poach evenly. Some of them were still hard in the center.

The pears were a little too tart for my taste, but the caramel sauce was amazing.

I'm not usually a big fan of poached pears, but this recipe changed my mind. The pears were so soft and juicy, and the caramel sauce was to die for. I will definitely be making these again.

The pears turned out beautifully tender and flavorful. I used a variety of pears, including Bartlett, Bosc, and Anjou, and they all cooked perfectly. The caramel sauce was also delicious and easy to make.

These poached pears were an absolute delight! The combination of the sweet pears, warm spices, and rich caramel sauce was heavenly. I served them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect ending to a special dinner.
