Pomegranate and Poppy Seed Salad image

Crisp, green romaine is the perfect base for this salad of red onion, pomegranate seeds and a creamy dressing.

2 heads romaine, torn into bite-size pieces
1 medium red onion, sliced
2 cups pomegranate seeds
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons poppy seed

Steps:

  • In large bowl, mix all salad ingredients.
  • In small bowl, mix all dressing ingredients until well blended. Pour over salad; toss to coat. Serve immediately.
