Pork and Noodle Casserole image

A hearty casserole with ground pork instead of ground beef. Compliments of Better homes and gardens recipe cards.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb ground pork
1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
4 ounces medium noodles, cooked and drained
1 (12 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Cook ground pork and onion until meat is done and onion is tender.
  • Drain.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients EXCEPT the cheese.
  • Turn into ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Bake covered at 350 for 40 minutes or until heated through.
  • Sprinkle with cheese
  • Return to oven and bake another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
