Prairie Potatoes image

My daughter-in-law Karen gave us this recipe. It's easy and tasty. Our family and friends request it often. Try it, you won't be disapponted

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes
2 cups sour cream
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions

Steps:

  • DON'T THAW POTATOES!
  • Mix all ingredients except French Fried Onions and place in 9x13 pan.
  • Top with French Fried Onions 30 minutes prior to taking out of oven.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr and 15 minutes.
