Pumpkin Black Bean Soup image

This soup is thick and filling and very simple to make. I prefer this with chicken broth, but if you need to make it vegetarian, use vegetable broth.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my soup turned out bland and watery. I followed the recipe exactly, but it just didn't have much flavor.

I'm not a fan of pumpkin soup, but I tried this recipe and was pleasantly surprised. The black beans and spices added a nice savory flavor that balanced out the sweetness of the pumpkin.

This soup has potential, but it needs some tweaking. I would add more spices and maybe some diced vegetables to give it more flavor.
