Ramen Cabbage Salad image

No matter where I bring this salad, AT LEAST one person asks me for the recipe!

Number Of Ingredients 10

16 oz pkg. cole slaw
1 bunch green onion
2/3 c almonds, slivered
2/3 c sunflower seeds
2 pkg ramen noodles, crumbled
DRESSING
1 c oil
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c vinegar (i use white or red wine)
2 pkg seasonings from noodles (i use oriental flavor)

Steps:

  • 1. Toss salad ingredients together.
  • 2. Mix dressing, pour over salad, and toss.
  • 3. Let sit for approximately an hour (for noodles and cabbage to soften).
  • 4. Toss before serving. Can be served cold or room temperature.
