I love Reba.........and her beans!

5 slice bacon, cooked and drained
1 medium onion, chopped
1 lb ground beef, extra lean
28 oz pork and beans
16 oz stewed tomatoes
1/4 c barbecue sauce
3 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
1 tsp red pepper sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Brown onion in same skillet used to cook bacon, over medium-high heat about 5 to 6 minutes.
  • 2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off excess grease.
  • 3. Add rest of ingredients except bacon. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes until it tastes real gooooooood!
  • 4. Crumble bacon over the top before serving.
