RICE COOKER MAC AND CHEESE image

Yield 8-10 Servings

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 box elbow macaroni (1-lb [450g] box0
3 1/2 cups (875ml) low-sodium chicken broth
1 1/3 cups (330ml) half and half
1/2 cup (125ml) fat-free half and half
1/2 cup (125ml) milk (any kind)
2 1/2 cups (625ml) shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons (45ml) butter
1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
1 teaspoon (5ml) salt
1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients into the cooking pot and stir lightly to combine using a nonstick spoon (not metal). Set simplicity Cooker: Boil/Simmer: 7 minutes NOTE: Once the unit switches to Warm, let mixture sit for approximately 10 minutes; then stir and let sit for another 5-10 minutes. The liquid will continue to absorb.
