Rum Cake image

This is absolutely my FAVORITE cake ever!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c chopped pecans
1 small box of vanilla instant pudding
2/3 c cold water
1/2 c dark rum
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c cokking oil
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan. Sprinkle nuts evently in the bottom.
  • 2. Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, 1/2 cup of cold water, oil and 1/4 cup rum.
  • 3. Pour mixture over pecans and bake at 350 for 1 hr.
  • 4. While cake is baking prepare glaze by melting butter and adding reamining 1/4 cup water, suger and 1/4 cup rum.
  • 5. Remove cake from oven and pour glaze over cake while still in pan. When cake is cool, turn onto serving plate.
