Sa-more S'mores, Please... image

Oh yes, adult s'mores! If you don't happen to have a campsite handy, you can make these right on a gas range like we did in the Test Kitchen. (An oven may work, too!)

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 pkg chocolate graham crackers (about 16 un-cracked)
8 Tbsp raspberry preserves
8 tsp chambord liquor (raspberry flavor liquor)
8 dark chocolate candy bars
48 large marshmallows
nonstick foil

Steps:

  • 1. Lay 8 graham crackers on a flat cutting board.
  • 2. Mix the raspberry preserves with the Chambord.
  • 3. Spread the raspberry mixture on 8 of the crackers
  • 4. Get out your sticks and burn them marshmallows....about 3 per cracker.
  • 5. Place one chocolate bar on each of the raspberry grahams, and top with the 3 marshmallows.
  • 6. Top with the other cracker.
  • 7. Wrap the crackers with the foil " non stick side inside "
  • 8. Throw on a BBQ " that the coals have cooled down a bit " or on the side of a bond fire pit....use tongs "carefully" to remove them.
  • 9. Open them carefully and enjoy!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of s'mores, but these were actually really good. I'd definitely make them again.

These are a great way to use up leftover graham crackers.

I love that you can make these in the oven. It's so much easier than making them over a campfire.

These are the best s'mores I've ever had. The marshmallow was perfectly gooey and the chocolate was rich and decadent.

I've made these several times now and they're always a hit. They're so versatile, too. I've used different types of chocolate and marshmallows, and they've always turned out great.

Perfect combination of chocolate and marshmallow. The graham crackers added a nice crunch.
