Salt and Pepper Pecans image

1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
2 cups pecan halves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium low.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in the Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Stir in pecans, mixing well to coat each piece.
  • Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 12-15 minutes, stirring once.
  • Using a spatula remove pecans from baking sheet.
  • Drain on paper towels.

Overall, I think this is a good recipe. The pecans are tasty and easy to make. However, I would make a few changes to the recipe to suit my own taste.
