Sausage Spinach Turnovers image

One Christmas, I gave these tasty meat pies to our neighbors as gifts instead of sweets-they loved them! The handheld pies make a handy take-along lunch. I freeze the leftovers and reheat them later in the microwave when I need a quick meal. -Vicky Henry Aurora, Colorado

These were a bit too time-consuming for me. I think I would have preferred a simpler recipe.

These were a bit too greasy for my taste. I think I would have preferred them baked instead of fried.

I'm not a big fan of spinach, but I really enjoyed these turnovers. The sausage and cheese were a great combination.
