Savory Parmesan Shortbread Rounds image

Found this in the December, 2007 issue of Bon Appetite, as I was clearing some space for more recent magazines. I haven't made them, but didn't want to let the recipe get away. Their serving suggestion - with pre-dinner drinks or on a salami platter.

These shortbread rounds were a bit too crumbly for my taste. I think I would try a different recipe next time.

I found the flavor of these shortbread rounds to be a bit bland. I think I would add some garlic or herbs next time to give them more flavor.

I followed the recipe exactly and the shortbread rounds turned out perfectly. They were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The parmesan cheese flavor was subtle but present.
