SEASONED PITA CHIPS image

Yield 64 chips

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 pita bread rounds, cut in half horizontally, then each cut into 8 wedges (to make 64 pieces)
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
2 cloves garlic, minced

Steps:

  • Place the bread wedges on a large baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the oil, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, and garlic. Drizzle over the pita bread. Toss the triangles of pita. Spread evenly in pan. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, toss; bake another 5 minutes.
