I had a hard time finding toffee chips, so I used chocolate chips instead. The squares still turned out great!

These squares are a bit too sweet for my taste. I would recommend using less sugar in the toffee filling.

I'm not a huge fan of shortbread, but I loved these squares. The toffee filling is amazing and it really complements the shortbread.

These squares are delicious, but they are very rich. I would recommend cutting them into small pieces so that you don't end up eating too much.

I followed the recipe exactly and my squares turned out great. The only thing I would change is to add a little more salt to the toffee filling.
