SHRIMP BRUSCHETTA image

Number Of Ingredients 15

Texas toast or any type of bread sliced thick, toasted
Mayonnaise
Regular toast, broken into little pieces
Cream of celery soup
Shrimp
Lemon
Spicy shrimp/seafood seasoning
Garlic
Onion
Dill
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Chopped Tomato
White wine
Butter
Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Marinate shrimp (if frozen, while thawing) with juice of one lemon and spicy seafood seasoning. Sauté butter, garlic & onion in sauce pan. Add dill, salt & pepper. When onions are soft, add white wine and tomatoes. Throw shrimp into mixture, toss. In small casserole dish, mix cream of celery soup and pieces of toast. Place shrimp mixture into casserole dish on top of toast/crust mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and a dash of pepper (optional.) Cover loosely with foil, bake for approximately 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, remove foil. Broil to "crust" cheese if desired. Add a light layer of mayonnaise to the toasted slices of texas toast. Spoon shrimp mixture on top of toast. Serve open faced.
