Steps:
- Separate flowerets of broccoli into small pieces.
- Remove tough skin on stems.
- Cut stems diagonally into slices about 1 1/2 inches in length.
- Wash broccoli.
- Drain.
- Heat oil in a wok to 400°.
- When hot, put in broccoli and stir-fry 1 minute.
- Add salt, water, and sugar.
- Cover.
- Cook 3 minutes.
- Remove cover.
- stir fry for 2 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with optional sesame seeds.
