I'm a vegetarian, so I used tempeh bacon in these beans instead of regular bacon. It worked really well and the beans were still delicious.

I made these beans in a slow cooker and they turned out great! I just threw all the ingredients in the slow cooker and let it cook on low for 8 hours. They were perfect for a potluck.

These beans were a little too sweet for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference. I would recommend using less brown sugar if you don't like your beans too sweet.

I used maple syrup instead of brown sugar in these beans and they were still really good. I think the maple syrup gave them a more subtle sweetness.

These beans were easy to make and turned out delicious. I used canned beans, but I think next time I'll try using dried beans. I think it would give them even more flavor.

I'm not a huge fan of baked beans, but I tried these and they were actually really good! The smokiness from the bacon really adds a nice flavor.

These are the best baked beans I've ever had! The smokiness from the bacon and the sweetness from the brown sugar are the perfect combination. I will definitely be making these again.
