I love old recipes, and this recipe was submitted in a cookbook put out in 1974. Bentley Glidden was a chief cook and served this recipe to Jake's Rangers. seasoned hamburg patties (with salt and pepper)
sliced onions
sliced green peppers (optional)
canned mushroom soup
1/2 can of water to each can of soup used

Steps:

  • 1. Panfry the hamburg patties, sliced onions and green peppers.
  • 2. When almost done, add canned mushroom soup.
  • 3. Heat and serve.
  • 4. This is so simple, and it makes it's own gravy.
