Snowball Surprise image

At Christmastime when all the treats tend to be super sweet, it's nice to have a lightly sweet cookie. We love snowballs with their buttery shortbread, pecan flavor and a dusting of powdered sugar. Putting chocolate chunks in the center is a sweet surprise. We're pretty sure Santa (plus your family and friends) will love these.

I'm not sure what went wrong with my snowball surprise, but it turned out nothing like the picture. It was more like a sticky mess.

This snowball surprise was a complete disaster! The coconut flakes didn't stick to the marshmallows and the chocolate coating was too thick.

I thought this snowball surprise was just okay. It was a bit too dense and the filling was a bit too runny.
