Sourdough Wheat Bread image

A whole wheat sourdough bread for the bread machine. The whole wheat flour adds a nice flavor and texture to your basic sourdough bread.

1 ½ cups sourdough starter
⅓ cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 ½ tablespoons margarine
1 ½ tablespoons white sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
¾ cup whole wheat flour
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast

Steps:

  • Add ingredients in order suggested by your manufacturer. Select whole wheat setting.
