We love these little treasures and when it's time for these beauties this recipe becomes our lunch and dinner for at least a couple weeks until we've had our fill for the following season. Our youngest son enjoys these right along with us. These are with a little southern twist on them.

I'm not a big fan of fried foods, but these fried green tomatoes were surprisingly good. The breading was light and crispy, and the tomatoes were cooked perfectly.

These fried green tomatoes were a huge disappointment. The breading was bland and the tomatoes were mushy.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my fried green tomatoes didn't turn out crispy at all. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

The breading on these tomatoes was really good, but the tomatoes themselves were a bit too tart for my liking.

These fried green tomatoes were a bit too oily for my taste. I think I would try using less oil next time, or maybe even baking them instead of frying them.
