Squash Casserole image

What a delicious way to prepare Squash Casserole! I think the addition of the cream of chicken soup is brilliant. Needless to say, there were no leftovers at my house!

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 yellow squash
1 stick butter
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
2 c crumbled baked cornbread
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Boil squash until tender. Drain water.
  • 2. Add butter, Cream of Chicken Soup, onion, salt and pepper and egg. Stir in well.
  • 3. Add corn bread crumbs over top.
  • 4. Bake 350 degrees for about 30-45 minutes.
