Categories     Salad     Beef     Backyard BBQ     Lunch

Yield 2 serving

Number Of Ingredients 8

Handful of Torn Romaine Lettuce
1/2 Cup Thinly Slice Red onions
3tbsp Shredded Asiago Cheese
2tbsp Sliced Sundried Tomatoes
Sprinkling of Fresh Bacon Bits
Small Handful of quality homemade Croutons
Caesar dressing to taste
6oz of Striploin

Steps:

  • Rub Steak with oil and herbs de provence, salt and pepper & grill steak to your liking... I normally go with a little over medium-rare, so that it is still nice and pink but not bleeding into the salad. Let the steak stand for a good 5 minutes under a tent of foil. While the steak is resting toss romaine in Caesar dressing until well coated In two 9" Bowls top the romaine with the remaining 5 ingredients

This salad was a bit too salty for my taste. I think I will use less Parmesan cheese next time.
