These beans are a great way to use up leftover ham. I always have ham leftover from Easter and Christmas, and this is a great way to use it up.

I accidentally used canned beans instead of dried beans. The beans still turned out great, but they were a bit softer than I would have liked.

The beans were a little too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of brown sugar next time.

I've tried many baked bean recipes, but this one is by far the best. The beans are tender and flavorful, and the sauce is rich and savory.
