I found this in a box of old family recipes - it was a gift from a Ms. Kurzawa to my grandmother, who apparently loved these cookies. When I made them, they even won over our resident ginger snap hater - he ate almost the whole batch!

I've tried many sugar n spice cookie recipes, but this one is by far the best. The cookies are soft, chewy, and have the perfect amount of spice.

These cookies were a complete disaster. I followed the recipe exactly, but they turned out burnt and crumbly.
