Swedish Apple Pie image

I am not good at making crust, so when I found this recipe for apple pie that didn't require a traditional crust, I was delighted! It has become a holiday staple. Hope you enjoy it!

Number Of Ingredients 7

4-5 large apples
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c flour
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 stick butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Peel apples and slice. Place in pie tin.
  • 2. Mix the 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 Tbsp sugar, sprinkle over apples.
  • 3. Mix flour, sugar, melted butter and egg together.
  • 4. Pour this over the apples.
  • 5. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
  • 6. Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream!
