Time 25m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 pork chops
2 tablespoons oil
garlic salt
salt and pepper
1 onion, finely minced
6 slices Roquefort cheese (generous slices)

Steps:

  • Rub a little gqrlic salt into the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Saute the chops in the oil until well-browned. Remove to a hot platter, and pour on the juice from the pan.
  • On each chop, put a heaping teaspoonfull of the onion. Over that, put on the cheese (don't experiment with other cheeses).
  • Put in a hot (400 degree) oven for about 10 minutes. The cheese will melt; the cheese and onion will produce a very tasty sauce.

These were delicious! The pork chops were juicy and flavorful, and the sauce was creamy and rich. I will definitely be making these again.

These were easy to make and turned out great. I used boneless pork chops and they were cooked through in about 15 minutes. The sauce was also very good.

I've made this recipe several times and it's always a hit. The pork chops are always tender and juicy, and the sauce is flavorful and creamy. I like to serve it with mashed potatoes and green beans.
