Steps:
- 1. Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees. Beat egg and sugar with a mixer-just enough to make sure it's mixed well.
- 2. Add self rising cornmeal and flour. Mix well and form into small balls (about the size of a quarter).
- 3. Deep fry until golden brown. Serve with cinnamon or honey butter.
