Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tortillas and cook, flipping a few times, until golden, about 3 minutes. Remove with tongs and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Add the onion to the skillet and cook, stirring, until soft, about 3 minutes. Add the garlic and cayenne and cook 30 seconds. Add the pork and 1/4 teaspoon salt and cook, breaking up the meat, until browned, about 4 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, chiles and corn. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Season with salt. Remove from the heat and stir in the cilantro. Arrange half of the tortillas in the bottom of a 9-to-10-inch pie plate. Top with half of the meat mixture, then half of the cheese. Repeat with the remaining tortillas, meat and cheese. Cover loosely with foil and bake until the cheese melts, about 10 minutes.

[email protected]A bit too bland for my taste. I think I should have added more taco seasoning.

[email protected]Used the recipe as a base and added my own personal touches, like some sliced olives, diced bell peppers, and a dollop of guacamole before baking. It was an incredible and impressive dish that my friends loved!

[email protected]Made exactly as written, and it was delicious. The flavor was exactly what we were hoping for. The taco filling and cheese were so flavorful and melty. We ll definitely make this again!

[email protected]I m allergic to dairy, so I used a dairy-free sour cream substitute. The pie was still fantastic!

[email protected]The recipe was easy to follow, but the baking times seemed off. I cooked it for 45 minutes total, and the cheese topping never browned.

[email protected]The pie was a big success at my Cinco de Mayo fiesta! I baked it that morning and served it at room temperature in the afternoon. It tasted even better the next day!

[email protected]I feel like the recipe had one too many steps, but it was still worth it. The only thing I would change would be how to get the filling mixture into the pie crust. It was hard to fill the pie crust without spilling the mixture everywhere.

[email protected]Didn t have any olives on hand so just left that ingredient out. Otherwise, followed the recipe as written. Came out great!

[email protected]This was so good. I m so happy I found this recipe! I wanted to try making a taco pie after I watched a cooking stream on the internet. This recipe is similar to the one the internet chef cooked, so I decided to try it. It s definitely easier to make

[email protected]The cheese on top of the pie was nicely browned, but the filling was still a little too runny for my taste. Next time I ll try baking at a higher temperature to see if I can get the consistency of the filling just right.

[email protected]Added some surprise vegetables to this recipe! I minced carrots fine and cooked them along with the ground beef, then used a whole zucchini instead of corn. It was DELISH!

[email protected]I m not a tomato sauce person, so I made this recipe without the tomato soup. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. The pie turned out delicious and hit all the taco notes I was looking for!

[email protected]This taco pie was a hit with my whole family! The recipe tasted exactly like classic beef tacos. It even looked similar, since I used a cast iron skillet for cooking. Thanks for sharing this with the world!
