Tangy Baked Apples image

When the weather turns cooler in fall, these baked apples from my mom are sure to warm you up. Our family enjoys them with turkey, pork...even meat loaf. My husband and I like to add a bit more horseradish for extra zip. -Dee Poppie, Gilman, Illinois

These baked apples were a disappointment. The glaze was too runny and the apples were mushy. I won't be making this recipe again.

I'm not a big fan of baked apples, but I thought I'd give this recipe a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The apples were perfectly tender and the glaze was delicious. I'll definitely be making these again.

These baked apples were a bit too tart for my taste, but I think that's because I used Granny Smith apples. Next time I'll try using a sweeter variety of apple.

Not bad, but not great. The apples were a bit too tart for my taste, and the glaze was a little too thick. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

Easy to make and delicious! I used Granny Smith apples and they held their shape well. The glaze was a little too tart for my taste, so I added a bit of honey. Will definitely make again!
