This marinade is a bit too salty for my taste. I would recommend using less soy sauce.

I'm a vegetarian, so I used tofu instead of chicken. It turned out great! The marinade really infused the tofu with flavor.

This marinade is a bit too sweet for my taste. I prefer a more savory teriyaki flavor.

I've tried many teriyaki marinades before, but this one is by far the best. The combination of soy sauce, mirin, and brown sugar is perfect.

I followed the recipe exactly and my chicken turned out dry and tough. I'm not sure what went wrong.
