THE BEST TURKEY, TURKEY CHILI image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Large Onion, diced
2 Pounds Butterball Ground Turkey
1 Pound Butterball Fat-Free Smoked Turkey Sausage, cut into 1/2" dice
2 10 Oz Cans Rotel Original Tomatoes/Chiles
2 15 Oz Cans Black Beans, undrained
12 Oz Water
5 Tbsp Gebhardt Chile Powder
2 Tbsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Coriander
1 Tbsp Cocoa (scant)
Salt and Pepper

Steps:

  • Add 1 tbsp olive oil to large skillet. Add turkey, 1/2 tsp salt & 1/4 tsp pepper. Crumble and brown turkey. Add to large stockpot. In same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil, diced onion, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Saute until onion is tender and translucent, about 6 minutes. Add to turkey in stockpot. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to simmer. Simmer for about 20 minutes to meld flavors. Salt and Pepper to taste.
