1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup white sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ cup butter
1 egg, beaten
⅓ cup cream
4 large apple - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cold butter

2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

This cake was delicious! The cake was moist and flavorful, and the crumb topping was the perfect finishing touch. I used a combination of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp apples, and they worked perfectly. I will definitely be making this cake again!

This cake was easy to make, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar in the batter next time. The crumb topping was good, but I would have liked it to be a bit more crunchy.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my cake didn't turn out as moist as I would have liked. I think I might have overbaked it. The crumb topping was good, but I would have liked it to be a bit more flavorful.

This cake was a bit dry for my taste. I think I would add more butter or oil to the batter next time. The crumb topping was good, but I would have liked it to be a bit more crunchy.
