This is a very basic meatloaf, but I am posting it in honor of my Uncle Dee, who passed away recently at the age of 79. It was his favorite meatloaf. Number Of Ingredients 8

1 and 1/2 lb ground beef
3/4 c quick cooking oats (uncooked)
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c chopped onion
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can(s) tomato sauce (8 oz)
1/2 c catsup, divided

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Mix together thoroughly the ground beef, oats, eggs, onion, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and 1/4 cup catsup.
  • 3. Pack into a loaf pan, and cover the top with the remaining 1/4 cup catsup. Bake for 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.
