The apples were a bit too soft for my taste, but the walnut-raisin filling was excellent. I will try this recipe again with a firmer variety of apple.

The apples were a bit bland. I think I needed to use a sweeter variety of apple.

Easy to make and delicious! I used Granny Smith apples and they turned out perfectly. The filling was sweet and nutty, and the apples were soft and tender.
