Wendy's Apple Pomegranate Salad image

My grandparents grew pomegranates, pecans and walnuts and would send us some each year. Some of my best memories are the days I used to spend with my grandmother learning how to cook with her. Whenever I make this, it's like having lunch with my grandmother again. -Wendy Ball, Battle Creek, Michigan

I've tried this salad with both arugula and spinach and I prefer it with arugula. The arugula gives the salad a nice peppery flavor.

This salad was a hit at my last party! The pomegranate seeds added a beautiful pop of color and a sweet-tart flavor that balanced out the salty feta and crunchy walnuts. I will definitely be making this again.
